Safe Haven Cancer Support Centre is an organization committed to supporting cancer survivors, patients and their families.

 

It is a non governmental organization which has a mandate to educate the general public of the importance of early detection, diagnosis and treatment of cancer in order to decrease mortality rates of the disease.

Safe Haven Cancer Support Centre in Ghana whose main objective is to provide basic and general information about cancer, particularly breast cancer and also to bring some awareness and education about how early detection can save and lengthen the lives of people who  have been diagnosed. It  wants to spread the message that life goes on during and after a cancer diagnosis. It also seeks to offer to cancer victims, their families and friends, encouragement spiritual and emotional support, through their ordeal.  It offers information on where cancer patients can find resources and supports to help them manage their lives during and after treatment.
